SCM:Tell us more about thecompany and the services you are offering.
Uday:Flyers Soft specializes inreinventing the IT services for Start-ups "Fly Fast" andEnterprises "Fly Fab". Our UX Workshops and Fixed cost MVP, allowedus to take a greater share of the start-up market and we minimize their risk offailure through robust development and testing practice. We are passionateabout enabling Product owners and Entrepreneurs.
SCM:Why was the company set up?And how did you expand your company and its offerings over the years?
Uday:I was working as a Sr.Business Development Manager with a Bangalore based company and I've had thegood fortune to meet with a lot of C-level people of more than 50 IndependentSoftware vendorsISVs and Enterprises from a dozen industries. Our discussions havedeepened my understanding of their pain points and desired business outcomes. Ihad ideas to help them with mordernising their core IT through assessing thetechnology which could be implemented to remove their pain points so that theycan stay a step ahead of their competitors.
We started the company to revamp and refine the waythe existing work and to create a respectful corporate culture. Fortunately,our employees were also passionate about learning technologies and reinventingsociety at scale, so our clients encouraged us with good projects in this shortspan of time.
SCM:What challenges did thecompany face before, during and after bringing in this solution? How did youresolve them?
Uday:A few, we had challenges infinancial aspects because we decided that will not be investing even a singlepenny into the business, this is a zero capital organization. Here's wherethings got interesting and tricky but the trust of our clients and our networksof technology friends helped me to overcome every hurdle.
SCM:What are the factors thatmake your company stand out in the market? Share a bit about your strategies tomarket your brand?
We started owning our client's vision and indulgingin their desires that made our clients feel good about our employees. Ourstrategy was very simple, respecting and recognizing the employees. We got afew references from our employees and we became stronger with each passingday.
SCM:Who are your clients? Howdo you ensure the unbreakable faith of your clients?
Uday:Independent Software vendorand Enterprise companies are our clients. We created our own tools for clientsatisfaction survey and project management so that we increased thetransparency rate and that further helped our clients to see our extra miles ona daily basis.
SCM:What do you feel are thefactors behind your consistent growth as a trusted brand?
Uday:Our Excellence in Deliveryis the major factor. Our strong belief in recognizing and celebrating oursuccess. The enthusiasm of our team. We embrace DevOps and technologies likecloud, digital engineering, analytics, AI and automation.
SCM:What are the trending toolsand impediments you notice in your field? How do you embed those trends intoyour solutions?
Uday:New tools keep introducingin the market every other day, but at Flyers Soft, mostly, we use third-partytools limited. We have a long-term plan to serve and we are meticulouslybuilding our own MVPs to bridge the third-party tools.
SCM:Shed light on your team.What ethos is maintained for the employees in your company?
Uday: We have young energeticemployees with diversified experience in data management; digital engineering,Cloud, and IoT, their vision and passion for technology are great. Teamwork andCoherent culture are the ethos maintained for the employees in our company
SCM:How do you portray thefuture of your company? Tell us about your achievements.
Uday: The plan for the future isto develop a simple, secure, user-friendlyPaaS product for Agriculture and Foodindustry with fresh perspectives and further, we are also looking intocollaborating with industry experts. At present, in terms of awards, we do nothave any as of now, we didn't plan for it. Our milestone was to ensure workingrigorously towards reaching the goal of INR 50 Lakh in 5 months through ITservices and we achieved it, and now meeting the plan to launch our first Product by May'20 to enable and enhance the Food industry andpeople around it.
SCM:What advice would you giveto other aspiring entrepreneurs who are venturing into the same domain?
Uday:One piece of advice that Iwould like to share with the young heads would be, to have a clear businessplan along with SWOT analysis. Once you have this with you only then you willbe able to crack the ways of the market movements and changing trends becausethe opportunities out there are innumerable. There has to be consistency in thebehaviour and nature will allow you to meet the right people to collaborate andcelebrate to reach your goal.
SCM:Has your company beenassociated with corporate social responsibilities?
Uday:Yes, we have a separateteam at Flyers Soft that takes care of all the activities associated with CSR.Now we have also started to focus on planting tree seedlings and conduct happyprograms for the people living in orphanages and the homeless ones.
